The faux fur movement has been gaining momentum over the last year with more and more brands declaring to be officially anti-fur. Burberry, Gucci, Stella McCartney and Versace are just a few of several fashion houses that are setting out to make a change by stopping fur use.

The Golden State, California, is taking note with major cities like San Francisco and Berkeley following the action and banning fur sales. Just recently, Los Angeles voted unanimously in a city council meeting to ban fur sales within city limits. This decision is a huge win for the anti-fur movement and animal rights activists as the largest city in the United States is officially on the anti-fur train.
