Dallas’ New Pop-Up Museum is Instagram Hotspot

Calling all unicorn fanatics, comic book geeks, and art lovers—Dallas’ newest pop-up museum is here to step up your Instagram game.

Rainbow Vomit is an immersive art exhibit meant for the Instagram feeds of Dallas’ trendiest. The Parry Avenue pop-up includes over 6000 LEDs, 100 pounds of cotton, 50 pounds of glitter, and five miles of ribbon to create the picture-perfect fantasyland. A team of over 20 creatives worked alongside curator Deana Theis and experience director Rob Andrews to bring a comic book story to life.

Arriving at Rainbow Vomit, the monochromatic exterior deceives guest of the wonderland inside. The main entry room is covered in black and white pop art with pages of the exhibit’s focal comic bursting out of a drawer. After reading the comic, guests are sent through a rainbow passageway and into a playhouse bursting with color. Countless photo ops ensue.

Art pieces include an eyeball covered wall, hanging bananas, a graffitied telephone booth, a cloud couch and even a giant unicorn. Staff is on hand to take photos of your group and ring lights are set up all over to keep your lighting flawless.
