We are excited to learn more about you and what you will bring to the SMU Look brand. While many of these positions are practicum positions and others work study or commissioned, all are important to the magazine's operations. Moreover, every position includes an experience unlike any other available during an undergraduate career. For this reason, these are highly contested positions and will require dedication and time.

Please ensure you understand and are willing to uphold a level of excellence in the position(s) for which you apply before submitting your application. Descriptions are located at below the application.

Practicum Positions for SMU Look magazine Fall 2017

Each position must be able to take direction from the EIC and Creative Director, as well as think creatively to solve problems that may arise.

By selecting and applying for a practicum position, you confirm an understanding that the position for which you are applying is one that will consume a significant amount of time and energy. You will receive a 1-hour practicum of university credit for this work; however, the time involved will most likely exceed that associated with a 1-credit-hour course. We are looking for students who are passionate about producing a high-quality fashion magazine and dedicated to that task. Please proceed if you agree to these terms.
