Halloween is just around the corner and I could not be more excited. I love dressing up, but sometimes it feels like all the costumes are too gimmicky or cheaply made. This year I curated a list of classy costumes that you could pull out of your closet right now.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s:
Nothing screams classy like Audry Hepburn. This costume only requires your trusty LBD, some pearls and a tiara.
Elle Woods:
We love a woman in power, so why not wear a pink power suit. Just pull together all your pink pieces to recreate Elle’s vibe. What? Like that would be hard.
Cruella De Vil:
Follow in the footsteps of a villain if you like a more evil approach. This costume is all about the accessories. Find some red gloves and bonus points if you have a black and white jacket.
Morticia Addams:
The Addams Family is a Halloween staple. To replicate the look you need a long sleeve black dress and a red lip. Maybe you’ll find your Gomez.
Marilyn Monroe:
If you’re a blonde bombshell like Marilyn, all you’ll need is a white dress and some red lipstick. Have your friends follow you around like paparazzi to get the full experience.

Grab a friend and repurpose those school uniforms sitting in the back of your closet. Don’t forget to sign your post xoxo Gossip Girl.

Grab your poodle skirt or leather pants. Whether you’re pre or post-makeover Sandy, you’ll be the talk of the town.
Donna and the Dynamos:
Bellbottoms have made a comeback, so pull yours out and get to singing. Complete the look with two friends and some microphones.
