How to Support Small Businesses Amid Coronavirus

As businesses continue to shut down and people are advised to stay home, many local stores have begun to suffer. However, local businesses are essential to the economy. Here are a few tips to support your local community while staying safe.

1. Order takeout from local restaurants. Many places now offer new delivery services, as well as curbside pickup. If financially feasible, consider incorporating one or two takeout meals per week into your quarantine routine.

4. Reschedule instead of canceling. If you planned to go out to dinner, attend a concert, or stay at a local bed and breakfast consider rescheduling instead of canceling. Although the future is unpredictable, hopefully, we will all get back to enjoying our communities soon.
