It’s college football season, which means Boulevard season is upon us and everyone is looking for fancy hot spots to hit up for a taste of something delicious before walking around in the blazing Texas heat. With the blazing summer at bay, you’re going to want to jot down some of these appetizing suggestions for when you’re next pre-Boulevard brunch. Here are the SMULook girls’ favorite brunch suggestions.

If you’re in the mood for something savory and don’t want to ruin your oh-so-beautiful white dress The Henry is the perfect place for you. Loved by our fellow writer, Rees Sinnott, The Henry is a timeless and classic spot for Instagram-worthy snapshots and gives you a wide range of choices that fits every basic need. From gluten-free to vegan, salads to truffle fries, you will without a doubt keep returning for more.

If extravagant taste and feel are what you’re eyeing, then Sixty Vines is the spot that brings all that you need and more. Adored by our very own Lizzie Sexton, Sixty Vines has not only the most beautiful atmosphere ever but a wide range of options that will have you watering at the mouth. Including but not limited to signature cocktails, brunch classics, and Fig & Prosciutto pizza.

Something savory. Something Greek. Hit up Ziziki’s for a bottomless brunch that will leave you and your tastebuds happy. Adored by Ivy Nielsen, Ziziki’s is the spot you definitely want to have a reservation on the books for brunch. There is something for everyone from greek salads to lamb, everything here pairs well with a mimosa.

Want to go big and beyond? Then Lindsay Rorschach has the absolute best place for you. Le Bilboquet, known for its fine dining and beautiful scenery, has options that leave you speechless! Between the crab and avocado salad to their lobster pasta, they have me making a reservation right this instant. While they offer brunch, this could just be the place to finish off all fun you’ve been having Boulevarding.

Our fellow Digital Editor, Lucy Ladis, has her best option for you to try and dine in on. Public School 214, located in Uptown serves delicious home-style cooked food and mouth-watering desserts. If you’re craving a good sit-down meal, with not only an excellent view but an extensive menu as well, then we definitely recommend checking this place out. From appetizing selections such as truffle mac and cheese to Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes, delicious can’t even begin to cover just how incredible this brunch menu is.

As always, we thank our fabulous readers for checking in and reading all the marvelous news that we have to deliver to you. Happy Boulevarding!

With love and appreciation, Meighan Ashford.
