This week I sat down with Molly Cassady, a sophomore from Fort Worth with an incredible sense style. She has the coolest pieces and always looks put together and on-trend. Keep reading to find out more about Molly’s cool-girl style!
How would you describe your style?
MC: I’d describe my style as edgy but still classic.
What is your inspiration, and do you have a specific style icon?
MC: I find my inspiration through fashion bloggers on Instagram- I follow hundreds! in particular, I love @xeniaadonts & @somethingnavy! I’m always obsessed with their outfits and I love following along their lives on their Instagram stories.
What is your go-to outfit for class?
MC: I like to dress comfortably for class, so leggings and a cute t-shirt or sweatshirt is my go-to. I like to mix it up every day though by wearing different sneakers!
What is your favorite fashion piece you own?
MC: Shoes, but in particular sneakers. I’m obsessed with them and wear them with anything from t-shirts to dresses! My current favorites that I own are my Balenciaga Triple S “chunky/dad” sneakers. They look so cool with a plain white bodysuit and boyfriend jeans as the statement piece of the outfit.
What is your favorite fall trend?
MC: Anything metallic! From metallic accessories to shoes to jeans, I love it all. I keep finding myself reaching for metallic pieces to buy for my wardrobe instead of basic black items for the fall. I think it’s such a fun trend and a great way to mix up an outfit!
What new piece are you buying for fall/winter?
MC: Western-inspired accessories! I love the western booties and belts in particular!
