Winter Is Coming—Is Your Skin Ready?

Holiday season is nearly upon us, and with it comes cold air and itchy, dry skin. If you are like me, you already have a skincare ritual that you follow religiously year-round. If you do not, now is the time to step up your game to protect your skin. Here are some of my favorite products to keep you moisturized this winter.

Alba Botanica Hawaiian Oil Free Moisturizer

Moisturizers are especially important for the delicate skin on your face in dry air. This ultra-lightweight facial moisturizer by Alba is perfect for a barely-there feeling with all the protection. The green tea moisturizes while the aloe soothes irritated skin.

Crème de la Mer

Sometimes, you just have to bring in the big (expensive) guns. Crème de la Mer is a cult favorite by many celebrities, and it is easy to see why. The formula is thick without feeling heavy and promises to heal even the driest of skin.

Carmex Classic Lip Balm

Few things bother me more than chapped lips. My addiction for years has been the original Carmex. It is medicated and has SPF 15 to protect your lips in any weather.

Burt’s Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm

If you want the soothing effects of chap stick with a pop of color, Burt’s Bees is the way to go. This pomegranate lip balm will leave your lips feeling smooth and looking healthy this winter.

Bliss Lemon Sage Body Butter

Bliss products never fail me. The formula is super-moisturizing and thick but never greasy, and the scent is fresh and clean. Use it on hands, legs and wherever else.
