Golden Goose Store Laces up at NorthPark Center

If you walk around the SMU campus, you’ll be sure to see plenty of girls sporting Golden Goose sneakers. The luxury sneaker brand is blowing up and luckily for us, we don’t have to travel far to snag a pair.

Golden Goose Deluxe Brand recently opened it’s first Texas location in Dallas at NorthPark Center – It’s also the company’s first store in the Southwest. The store is light, bright, and simple, putting the sneakers on the pedestal.

Golden Goose is known for its statement sneakers and iconic star logo. The sneakers have a vintage vibe created with high-quality craftsmanship and durable Italian leather. No two pairs are exactly the same, so if you can drop $300-$600 on a pair you’ll be sure to get something that is one of a kind.

Often known to be the “ugly” or ‘”dirty” sneaker, many feel that buying a pair of pre-scuffed up sneakers is not worth the high price point. However, there is still a huge cult following that finds the vintage look appealing.

“I think that because they come already scuffed up and dirty, I don’t feel bad about wearing them a lot, so I really get my money’s worth,” SMU Student Ann Joullian said.

The store not only features the classic sneakers, but there’s also apparel and accessories for women, men, and kids. It’s located on level one between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.
