We have been waiting for this moment all school year. Summertime, of course, but also the SMU Look magazine launch party!
Join the Look staff this Monday, April 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Hughes-Trigg Student Center for our biannual magazine launch party.
Treat yourself to Bird Bakery and Poppi goodies, beauty samples from Cos Bar and Dr. Sturm, and coupons from Bondi Bowls. And, most importantly, pick up the latest issue of SMU Look.
The theme of our Spring/Summer issue is ‘radiance,’ which emphasizes embracing your inner beauty and letting your light shine to the world. However, the magazine showcases a diverse range of articles, from the resurgence of fiber arts such as needlepoint and embroidery to an SMU student’s guide to the best purses on campus. All of the content is composed by the Look staff and SMU student contributors.
“I think we all should strive to have more radiance and not let outside forces dull our inner sparkle,“ said Leighton Cottrell, Look’s editorial director.
