SW: Describe your style in 3 words.

NG: “urban, laid-back, funky.”

SW: Where do you primarily shop?

NG: “I use a variety of online sites, but my favorite place to look for gems is Depop. Sometimes I like more sophisticated sleek clothing, and sometimes I like my outfits to resemble a vibe from the 70s or 80s.”

SW: If you could raid one person’s closet who would it be?

NG: “I would raid Hailey Bieber’s closet because her clothes are comfortable, yet stylish and bold. I like to create outfits similar to hers where there are a few layers or details built on top of a generally minimalistic look.”

SW: Where do you draw inspiration from?

NG: “I mostly am inspired by my individual pieces of clothing themselves. I tend not to shop for essentials, but instead, I buy pieces when they specifically stand out to me. One of my favorite things to do is create a whole look revolving around one statement piece. I also draw inspiration from people I see on the street every day. When scrolling through Instagram or shopping online, it’s very difficult to get a sense of which styles would work on someone who isn’t a model. That is why I think it’s great when I see someone else pulling off a certain look because then I can take that and put my spin on it when the opportunity arises.”

SW: If you could only wear one piece for the rest of your life what would it be?

NG: “If I could wear a trench coat in every weather, I absolutely would. I love coats in all different colors and materials. A coat takes any look and immediately makes it sophisticated. I also just love the ultimate combination of comfort and style mixed into one item.”

SW: What are your beauty essentials?

NG: “Lancer Dermatology offers a variety of serums that I swear by they clear anything on my face within a day or two. At the moment I cannot live without my Tatcha Water Cream moisturizer, which I love because it doesn’t feel like it’s clogging my pores and it is a great moisturizer for the daytime. My most essential piece of makeup would have to be the Dior maximizing glosses, which tops any other maximizing glosses I’ve tried in the past.”

SW: What are your go-to spots in Dallas?

NG: “My favorite place to grab a simple, quick coffee and toast is La La Land. I’m a huge fan of simplicity because I think focusing on one thing makes it a specialty which makes it higher quality. Similarly, Manpuku Tokyo BBQ dining offers an array of high-quality meats and vegetables to enjoy for some hot food on a casual night. When it comes to finer dining options, there are endless restaurants that I enjoy. A few of my absolute favorites, however, would include Sister, Uchi and The Charles.”

SW: What is your favorite look you’ve ever worn?

NG: “This dress from Danielle Guizio with a coat from Elsie and Fred.”
