There’s no reason to be uncomfortable when pounding the pavement, and Sarah Flint’s comfort-first approach to beautiful shoes will have you strutting into every interview with style.

The women’s luxury shoe brand, Sarah Flint, opened a pop-up shop in NorthPark Center in December, and the boutique will stay open through the end of April. Dallas is the first southwest city to host the direct-to-consumer women’s shoe shop, following successful runs in New York and Washington D.C. Flint shoes are made in Italy and crafted with intricate detail and rich coloring. The brand’s “Style Without Sacrifice” motto is fitting, given the luxury, value, comfort and commitment to responsible resources and sustainable production that’s behind each pair.

Even cooler: There really is a Sarah Flint. The Massachusetts native founded her eponymous line in 2013, when she was just 24 years old. But she was already well-trained in the fine art of footwear: She graduated from F.I.T. in New York City, where she focused on accessories, interned at Proenza Schouler and attended the renowned Arsutoria School in Italy, where she studied shoe prototyping and pattern-making. Sarah Flint shoes became an instant success, and her celebrity clients include Heidi Klum, Jessica Alba, Amal Clooney, Meghan Markle and Blake Lively.

Shopper and SMU student Nelle Johnson was also impressed by the shoes when she visited the Flint popup at NorthPark Center.

“My favorite thing about the shoes was the nicely padded soles,” she said. “No matter the style, they all looked beautiful and comfortable.”

The Sarah Flint NorthPark location is modeled after the designer’s private living room. Beautiful greenery rests against the brick blue walls, creating an inviting space for guests to try on shoes while sitting on plush velvet sofas.
