Sofia Carson’s 2021 Giambattista Valli Haute Couture look was a show stopper. The tulle gown with a cold shoulder from their fall and winter 2021 collection was effortlessly elegant. Carson completed this look with a classic side part bun, a pair of gorgeous diamond earrings, and a winged eyeliner look.

Zendaya has done it again. The stunning young actress strayed from the traditional award-show look in a stunning sequin skirt and cropped silk top by Valentino Haute Couture. She let her outfit’s glamour speak for itself opting for a clean makeup look and a slicked-back hairstyle.

Lily James was pretty in pink on the red carpet this Oscar Sunday. The Pam and Tommy actress dropped jaws in her Versace look. James paired her gown with a pair of pink heels and a sleek diamond choker. This look was the perfect balance of sexy and a princess-esque elegance making it my favorite look to grace the red carpet.

Timothee Chalamet stole the spotlight in his Louis Vuitton look. The young heartthrob ditched a shirt and rocked a sequin suit jacket with a perfectly tailored pair of pants. Chalamet’s playful, edgy take on the sophisticated award show was not only successful but also extremely sexy.

Eva Von Bahr’s look was one to remember and not for good reason. The Swedish hair and makeup artist adorned herself in a dress that featured Renaissance artist Raphael’s Madonna del Prato across the front. This look belongs in the museums not on the runway. The look was completed with a purse shaped like a sculpture bust.

Billie Eilish is never one to shy away from an oversized statement piece. This Oscar Sunday, Eilish wore a gown from Gucci. While oversized is Eilish’s signature look this frock completely consumed the singer, leaving many wondering how she even walked down the red carpet.

Venus Williams left little to the imagination on her red carpet walk. The accomplished athlete chose an Elie Saab gown with a very daring silhouette. While the dress itself could have been pretty, the bold choice resulted in Williams facing a disastrous wardrobe malfunction on national television, which is never ideal.

Last on the list is Nicole Kidman. There is no denying Kidman is drop-dead gorgeous but her Armani Prive look did not do her striking beauty justice. Her ill-fitting gown featured a puffed element in the body that looked like it needed to be run through the steamer one last time.

From the unexpected drama to the fabulous fashion this year’s Oscars will be one to remember.
