Best Dressed:
Best new artist winner Olivia Rodrigo stunned in Vivienne Westwood. The look was a classic Vivienne Westwood piece featuring a form-fitting bodice accentuated with pink metallic crystals on the front. The young star paired the gown with gloves and chokers to add an element of edge.
Hailey Bieber brought class to the red carpet. Hailey wore an ethereal white strapless Saint Laurent gown with a loose braid and a delicate Tiffany diamond necklace. This look was perfectly executed and the epitome of understated elegance. A perfect yin to her yang, Justin looked effortlessly cool in an oversized Balenciaga suit, electric pink beanie and monster crocs, leaving everyone wondering who would wear those, but also where they can get a pair.
Dua Lipa wore a classic Versace throwback gown that was first made famous by the iconic Cindy Crawford. She was a standout in the black mesh bustier and golden buckles dress confirming that some great looks will never go out of style.
Worst dressed:
Chloe Bailey channeled her inner disco ball in Valentino. While the idea of the dress was there, the fit of the gown was ultimately distracting. The cape element overpowered the look, consuming Bailey’s beautiful petite body.
Laverne Cox wore a lace gown by designer John Galliano. The lace dress paired with the black undergarment set made it appear as if Cox was headed to a day at Coachella, not a prestigious award show.
Addison Rae underwhelmed in Nili Lotan. The TikTok star seemed to put little effort into her look wearing an everyday slip dress with some oversized bangles. For hair and makeup, she went with messy waves and a simple face. While the look wasn’t bad, it definitely was far from award-show-worthy.
Tayla Parx channeled her inner Ninja Turtle on the red carpet and in this case, I think no further explanation is necessary.
Overall, what a memorable year on the Grammy red carpet!
