Every year at the start of spring I always have this moment where I walk into my closet and am just upset. I usually sit there thinking, “how is it possible that I have so much in here, yet I hate all of it?”
I can only do this so many times until I decide that a change has to be made. So, I’ve decided the time is now. I want my closet to have a couple of great staples for each season that I won’t get sick of every time the seasons change. Essentially, I am trying to build a capsule wardrobe for spring. Here is everything that I am considering investing in.

Knits are huge this season. But let’s be honest, they are big every season. Since it’s neutral, I can see myself wearing this for a very long time.
Amanda Uprichard Dale Skort – $167

Skorts are another thing that I have seen a lot of recently. Even though this is not something that I naturally gravitate to, I have decided that I need this in my closet because I know it could go with anything.
Line & Dot Kendall Sweater Top – $81

I love how this top is basic, yet unique. The deep-V neckline and the deep slit make it a piece that I know I am going to love for years.
Agolde Parker Long Vintage Shorts – $138

Every spring/summer I am always looking for a good pair of jeans shorts. & I think these are great to dress up or dress down!
Line & Dot Dre Knit Dress – $113

The color. The neckline. I can already see myself styling this in a million different ways.
Skims Stretch Cotton Tee – $48

If you haven’t already heard about Skims, you may be living underneath a rock. I am always looking for the perfect white tee, and I think I may just have found one.
Paris Georgia Black Heart Dress – $515

I love the versatility of this dress. I can see myself wearing it for the day and night, and layered with jackets/sweaters etc. This dress was made to be a staple.
These peices will be for a lifetime of springs to come!
