HerStory is the first shoppable platform that focuses its efforts on showcasing ethical, women-led small businesses from around the world. The featured brands are committed to promoting sustainability and empowering women with the goal of creating a brighter future for the next generation of leaders.
HerStory was founded in 2020 by three Dallas-based women Tinsley Merrill Paul, Brittney Merrill Underwood, and Whitney Rowell. The women came together with the shared goal of highlighting small female-founded companies, at a time when it was extremely challenging for small businesses to survive. Three years later, HerStory has supported over a hundred brands across the United States, Central America, Africa and Ukraine.
As we enter into summer, HerStory has released an edit on their website inspired by the trending coastal cowgirl aesthetic. The edit features hats from Corazón Playero, a female-run business from Mexico as well as many other chic jewelry, dresses and swimsuit options from other global small businesses.
