No one has led the bob comeback quite like It-Girl Hailey Bieber. Ever since early 2023, Bieber has experimented with her hair, exploring the best possible length. Her conclusion landed on the bob. In a TikTok she posted in January 2023, Bieber debuted her fresh cut with the caption, “oops.” The now-viral video sparked a huge interest in this classic cut. In a Harper’s Bazaar article, they wrote, “All hail Hailey’s blunt bob.” Fans, celebrities, and influencers quickly began to follow suit.
Celebrities like Sydney Sweeney, Hailee Steinfeld, and Zendaya have all followed suit and taken their spin on the classic hairstyle. Whether it’s a short, polished bob, a textured “boy bob,” or a soft, layered lob, this hairstyle offers something for everyone.

SMU Freshman Charlotte Stiles did just this sharing, “I slowly cut my hair shorter and shorter,” she says. “Finally, I was just like, ‘You know what, I’m gonna get a bob.'”
