Best Dressed at the 2018 AMAs

The music industry’s biggest stars came together last night at the American Music Awards to show off not only their music, but also their impeccable style.

We already knew the queen of Coachella has the best style and at the AMAs she proved, yet again, she knows how to dress. In a beautiful, petal pink gown by Cushnie et Ochs and a blunt lob she gives a nod to old hollywood glamour in the best way.

Also in a pink-toned ensemble was Tracee Ellis Ross. Tweeting beforehand that she would be wearing all black designers, Ross wowed when she arrived in a Pyer Moss suit and a Jacob & Co. choker. The host of the 2018 show would continue to stun audiences with her many outfit changes keeping to her theme of wearing all black designers.

Busy Phillips in Michael Kors

The women’s suit seemed to be a popular trend at this years awards. Busy Phillips gives us 70s vibes with her sequined bell bottoms and wavy hairstyle. The all-black ensemble was custom designed by Michael Kors.

Amandla Stenberg in Ralph Lauren and Levi’s

Taking the traditional men’s award show apparel and making it her own is Amandla Stenberg. In a Ralph Lauren blazer and Levi’s jeans complete with a bowtie, Stenberg makes waves with her unique and boundary-pushing sense of style.

Women weren’t the only ones adding a spin to the traditional suit. Post Malone brought the party to the red carpet. He even brought a red solo cup as an accessory. His custom sky blue, western-inspired suit was detailed with snakes and a P and M monogram. He also paired his suit with jeweled cuban boots to really emphasize the party theme.

Following the lead of his sister, Tracee Ellis, Evan Ross also arrived in a well-styled suit. With no shirt underneath, Ross let the blue and green plaid suit be the star of the show.

Nominated for two awards, Zedd gave the idea of the all-black ensemble a twist by wearing a glittery jacket.

Also in a all black ensemble was fashion icon Heidi Klum. The former Project Runway host knows a thing or two about style. Klum was stunning in a lowcut, sheer, fringe embellished dress paired with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and strappy black heels.

Carrie Underwood used her black dress to emphasize her baby bump. She wore a black velvet gown with a slit and gold detailing to walk this years red carpet.

Rami Malek, who will soon be seen on the big screen as Freddie Mercury, wore a black and white gingham jacket by Givenchy and walked the red carpet in style.
