Not Your Grandma’s Tablecloth

The one thing I will never forget about dinner at my grandma’s house is her tablecloths. The vintage floral cotton made an appearance at every occasion, and every occasion had a different tablecloth. To my own disbelief, grandma’s tablecloth just got a revamp.

Summer came…and summer is leaving faster than expected. To my surprise, the first day of fall is next week. Not ready to give up your favorite summer looks yet? These muted florals are making the transition from summer to fall a little easier.

One of my favorite ways this print is worn is in dress form. You can get this look from LoveShackFancy, Reformation, Zimmerman, Majorelle, and Lovers + Friends.

If you don’t want to break the bank, you can find less expensive alternatives on Princess Polly, Zara, and Forever 21.

If dresses aren’t your thing, there are plenty of other options. You can wear the print alone as a top, skirt, shorts, or wear it as a set. Check out these pieces from For Love & Lemons, Lovers + Friends, Forever 21, and Princess Polly.

Next time you catch yourself rolling your eyes at your grandma’s tablecloth, check yourself…and ask her to make you a dress out of it!
