Game of Thrones, Chernobyl, and Queer Eye all took home awards at the star-studded ceremony Sunday night. Aside from the recognition, the Emmy’s are all about fashion. They set the tone for the rest of award season, but aren’t quite as stuffy as the Oscars. It’s the perfect night for a sitcom star to take a fashion risk without consequence.
Zendaya was a definite stand out of the night. Her deep green Vera Wang gown paired perfectly with her purple red hair. She dominated Instagram feeds all night long.
Emilia Clarke looked stunning in Valentino. The deep V neckline was the perfect amount of drama with her slick straight hair.
Kim Kardashian proved black isn’t boring in Vivienne Westwood. The thick silver cross is everything with the simplicity of the body-hugging black dress.
Sophie Turner‘s Louis Vuitton look was all about the details. The belt proved the western trend isn’t going anywhere.
RuPaul always brings it and tonight was no exception. Aside from winning two awards for his show RuPaul’s Drag Race he slew the carpet in a black and pink fitted tuxedo.
Nicole Scherzinger stuns in another Vivienne Westwood creation. Is it a dress over pants? A jumpsuit? Unclear, but whatever it is it’s working.
