Think Picnic, but Elevated

What did you do during your quarantine/summer? While most of us idly wasted away nearly six months with mundanity, SMU juniors Mackenzie Wray, Caroline Jones, and Emma Eaker were building what is now known as Rosedale Picnic Company. Their vision is simple: to create a beautiful experience centered around friends.

As SMU students, our world looks different. With social distancing mandates all over Dallas and SMU’s campus, students are forced to get creative with how to spend their time.

Rosedale Picnic Company offers gorgeous luxury picnics for 2-10 people catered with charcuterie by Boxed Bites, treats from Bird Bakery, or a meal of your choice to be picked up and set up for you from a Dallas restaurant.

In light of the times, one of the main focuses of Rosedale Picnic Company is to ensure a fun, yet safe time for all involved. Therefore, customers can ensure that everything is sanitized upon their arrival and in line with CDC regulations.

Co-founder Caroline Jones says it best: “Everyone is craving something to do right now that is outside of just postmating a meal in. The world is slowing down.. and what a fun thing to do to spend time with your girls!”
