Thanks to the various customization options, this sister-owned company is a one-stop-shop for organization lovers. If you read my post last week, you’ll already know the inside scoop on their company. The vast spread of must-haves includes pouches and duffels, as well as small items like card cases, and even a children’s line. Stoney Clover Lane has made quite the name for themselves over the last decade. Their patches are a SCL staple, which add pizazz to your run of the mill travel accessories.

Kendall Glazer is the Co-Founder of Stoney Clover Lane. After looking into her and her sister Libby’s backstory, I found that the sisters started SCL out of boredom one summer. Their home in Palm Beach, Fla. resides on Stoney Clover Lane— hence what inspired the name of their empire. After graduating from Tulane University in 2013, Kendall took her love for traveling and appreciation for accessories to New York to grow their brand. Currently, SCL has evolved into a fully customizable brand, which embodies functional fashion. The pair is always thinking about their next move. They enjoy keeping their customers on their toes by dropping numerous collaborations with impressive brands like Lele Sadoughi, LoveShackFancy and Donni. Just last year, the power duo landed their names on the Forbes 30 under 30 list. Kendall and Libby embody everything that is “girl power” and I for one am fully impressed.

The growth of Stoney Clover Lane is an impressive feat. With three brick-and- mortar storefronts, in Palm Beach, SoHo, and East Hampton, as well as a New Orleans shop on its way, it is obvious that these girls are here to stay. Despite its growth, both sisters are still involved in SCL. In an interview with Women in Retail, Kendall said that only she and Libby are logged into the social media accounts— interacting with customers and posting. This is important to them as they want to maintain their voice in the company. Kendall shares a lot about entrepreneurship and makes it clear that to be successful all you need is a little bit of luck and love.

My favorite part about the Glazer sisters’ story is the fact that Stoney Clover Lane was literally born from the ground up. Just two girls, sitting on the floor with a dream.
