It’s Blair Waldorf’s favorite holiday, so why not dress up?
Now that Halloween is over, it’s officially time for Thanksgiving. It’s a perfect time to give thanks while simultaneously serving looks at the dinner table. Our favorite upper east sider, Queen B, always dresses to impress. However, let’s hope that our Thanksgiving dinners don’t end up like hers do.
At my house, Thanksgiving is an entire days worth of celebration. You’ll definitely see me on Instagram in my best fall chic. Here are three curated outfit examples that would leave your dinner party speechless.
1. Here I’ve paired the most adorable and sleek velvet Reformation dress with a pair of black boots to create more of an elegant look. For earrings, gold hoops are good for a clean look. If your family celebrates Thanksgiving somewhere other than your home, throw a cute black shoulder bag on and even a black blazer to complete the look!
2. For this outfit, I wanted to play on the brown trend that is circulating in the fashion world right now. This Zara dress is my favorite. It’s even in my cart right now! Instead of the obvious choice of a black boot, I decided it would be more fun to pair this with a forest green colored boot. For accessories, I think less is more. Some gold hoops and a white mini bag will tie it together nicely.
3. For the third and final outfit, I took this adorable ALC dress and paired it with the classic Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots. In classic Blair Waldorf fashion, I felt inclined to include a simplistic black headband. For earrings, I found this cute pair of gemstone dangles that will really draw out the blue in the dress.
Whether you dress up or down for Thanksgiving, remember to have a good time with your family. After all, that’s what it’s all about.
Happy Thanksgiving season!!
