I received a facial at the Joanna Czech studio in downtown Dallas, and my skin has never looked better!
When you step into the studio, you are greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff in a gorgeous space. To your right is an array of skincare products for the face and body to treat a wide variety of needs and concerns. You can shop so many popular, luxury brands, such as Biologique Recherche and Augustinus Bader. The space feels light and bright, with a white interior, beautiful chandeliers and large orchids to add a homey touch.
I booked a 60-minute LED facial with Jennifer and had the most wonderful experience. I had my first treatment with Jennifer back in September, and since, my skin has improved immensely. The facial started off with a sculpting and lifting facial massage to cleanse and purify the skin. Next, we moved into exfoliation, which did not feel abrasive but was definitely effective. If necessary, the facialist offers extractions. I always tell Jennifer to do as many extractions as she sees fit to really deep clean my skin. Then, Jennifer did a multitude of treatments on my skin, and all treatments are tailored to the individual client. For me, she used microcurrent, many types of light therapy and an oxygenating face mask. With each step, Jennifer was delicate, intentional and I could tell she truly cared for my skin and its improvement.
The reason I keep coming back to Joanna Czech is that I find the experience to be unmatched. There are so many lovely touches that make the experience memorable. For example, the melodious pop music they play when you receive your treatment, as compared to the typical instrumental music at most spas. Not only is my skin drastically improving from each treatment, but it never feels like a chore to care for my skin and receive treatments. I have received such amazing advice on how to care for my skin, even in my college dorm with limited time for self-care. Also, I love that Jennifer didn’t suggest I toss every product I was using and buy all of her recommendations. Instead, she focused on the ingredients and tips she recommends for my skin, making me excited to do my skincare routine every morning and night.
